On behalf of the Porto, Clinical Nephrology Update we are pleased to invite you to attend this event jointly organized by the Nephrology Collaborative Group of the Mayo Clinic and Department of Nephrology of the Faculty of Medicine of Porto to be held on ‪11-12 October 2019 in Porto, the old city that gave the name to Portugal, world famous for its wine, its gastronomy, its historic center, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and the University of Porto.

The event has a high profile in the clinical nephrology field and will provide information about the latest scientific advances regarding new pathophysiological aspects and diagnosis of the main kidney diseases, including acute kidney injury, review new management strategies for kidney damage associated to systemic diseases, peritoneal dialysis and transplantation and summarize data from current trials on the treatment of primary and secondary kidney diseases, among other relevant topics.

Renowned scientists from each field will highlight ongoing progress in state-of-the-art lectures followed by discussion and case presentations.
